Billy Barott is the Electrical Engineering Faculty Advisor for the EcoCAR project and previously served as an advisor for the Formula Hybrid project. He earned his BS,MS, and PhD degrees from the Georgia Institute of Technology, with a research focus in electromagnetics and RF systems. His other current research project is on high-speed processing for radio astronomy for the SETI Institute. Billy lives with his wife in Port Orange, Florida.
